How To Live A Happy Life

By Joe Searle

Abundant Living In 2014

Dr. Stephen Covey told us that, “Every human has four endowments, self-awareness, conscience, independent will, and creative imagination. These give us the ultimate human freedom and the power to choose, to respond, and to change.” It is thoughts that can help us change our world and our lives. Thoughts coupled with our human emotions pack an even greater punch when it comes to challenging our beliefs and changing our lives. When it comes to money, for example, it’s not really about what money you have, or wish you had, it’s really more about how you feel about the money. Prosperity is a real hot button issue for many of us. Dale Carnegie said it best, “Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you have.”Emotions about our choices in life concerning money present us with a real challenge when it comes to realizing our capability for abundance.

There are emotions that can block the abundance from flowing in our direction. Fear, worry and anger, along with resentment, jealousy, self-pity and envy are all dangerous emotions that will positively shut off the flow of abundance to your life. While negative emotions can be helpful in life-threatening situations, aiding in our survival, it can seriously impact our lives when used inappropriately. You need that fear to tell you to run away or that anger to save a loved one, but when applied in the normal course of events, these negative emotions can be detrimental to your health, or even the health of others. It’s most assuredly detrimental to the flow of abundance in your life. Eliminating these debilitating emotions, and showing forgiveness for yourself, as well as for others in your life, will re-establish the abundant flow back into your world. You must rid yourself of all negative emotions; push aside the pettiness and resentment, the fear, anger, and worry.

Depression and doubt are extremely harmful to your body and your mind, and must be dealt with quickly and replaced with more positive emotions, before they can cause physical or mental illness. Jealousy, envy, and resentment hurt you as well as others and block the flow of abundance in your direction. You’ve heard the Latin phrase, ‘carpe diem.’ It means ‘seize the day.’ Grab the opportunity; don’t let it pass you by. You must live your life to the fullest, make each day count, and maximize the quality of your life. Remember, this is not a dress rehearsal; this is real life.

Becoming Wiser – Lessons In Personal Development

As the saying goes, “the wiser I become, the more I know how much more there is to know.” The tools I share worked for me. They are not the only way, but a way: a way that has guided me towards a level of internal peace and an unconditional love of self. This kind of love transcends judgment and blame. It doesn’t mean goody-goody, nicey-nicey. It does mean balanced sharing, acceptance of self and reality in all moments, service in a non-judgmental state, compassionate loving allowance. Important as the journey of unfolding the inner love through self-discovery and enlightenment is, it is a s important to enjoy life, to be able to develop the ability to laugh at our antics, play with our children, to have balanced sharing, laughter, and a joyful outlook on life while having the time of our lives all along the way. In short ‘lighten up’.

Do not get caught up in the process of attaining your dream where you forget to live life. Smile, laugh, and play like a child in the mystery of the breath that supports life. If your focus remains in attainment, you will always be attaining. See your dream as a reality. A reality you are already living internally by allowing the adventure to empower self through the passion of living wholly your moment-to-moment experiences.

Unfold an expanded level of self-awareness by being aware of the reality you are creating. Continue and build upon the knowing that all that is created is for purpose and good. The purpose is to learn what you are requiring to learn so you can project an expanded level of the internal love. Discover within the created situation what it is you desire to know. Check yourself emotionally; are you holding onto any fear? If so, remember: fear creates losses. If not, go beyond the quest, so you can see yourself as you desire to see yourself. Have faith that whatever is for your highest good will be given unto you. Then follow your heart, your first inclination of direction. Through your daily prayers and meditations, continue to ask for guidance, offer your concerns to a higher source, then go about your day in full faith that your highest good will unfold in perfect timing.

Realize that any form of doubt is created through the limiting aspect of the mind, drawing from past experiences, or future fears of what ifs. Limitations that in reality, have nothing to do with the moment now. Create your dream through the knowing that your worth is not from anything external you place in your life, yet you are worth all things.

Employing a trust that crates a position of strength stability, abundance and the peaceful power that refined unconditional love (love in its purest form) always supports. Creating from fear, a dense for of one’s perception of love, may be a motivation to act (i.e., if I don’t do this, I won’t eat). It is however, the ability to move through the fear that dis-empowers self, so you can expanded your levels of self-realization, inner fulfillment, and abundance in all areas of life.

Veronique’s intensive spiritual quest became expressed in her innovative course The Choice Is Mine. Her work teaches you how to look at life situations so you can know your full potential & act positively on that awareness, to live your dream life sooner rather than later. Take that first step in your self improvement & begin re-aliging your subconscious today.

Success What Is It? How Do I Become Successful?

By Paul A Philips

What does it mean to you to be successful? How do you define success? To answer these pertinent questions, let’s first look at what it means NOT to be successful or where success can be questioned as to whether or not it’s genuine. Basically there are 2 circumstances:

1. I have seen a number of people say that they’re going to be successful when they’ll feel happy or fulfilled or having expressed themselves in their ways… etc. Okay, but I have found that these things usually don’t lead to success. Making these things the criteria for success can be a trap. I’ll explain what this means later.

2. Then, for example, take the case of Marilyn Monroe. It has been said that she was one of the most successful actresses ever. However, in spite of this, she spent so much of her time peddling hope, help and victimhood… while her death was suspected to be suicide, which could challenge the definition of genuine success in terms of a successful life living like this…

Indeed, you hear of a number of individuals that are unhappy which goes against what they have on record: Big house, lots of cars and other fanciful possessions…

For example, rock guitar idol Eric Clapton said in so many words that when in the heydays with his band the Cream in the late 1960’s in spite of him getting huge amounts of money and attention he felt like he wanted to commit suicide on a daily basis.

-So what’s missing for these people in these 2 different circumstances?

What can be done so that you don’t end up getting caught in the same traps?

For circumstance number 1 the answer lies in making your targets for accomplishment as specific and measurable as possible. When I’ll feel happy or fulfilled or having expressed myself in ways… is too hazy and not defining.

Define what it is you intend to achieve stating it in the way of: I’ll achieve X by time Y with those specific and measureable results needed. Before setting out on this define for yourself what the conditions of satisfaction will be. Will this be nurturing and fulfilling for you? Does it call and inspire you..?

Basically, the same goes for circumstance number 2. Remember, if something’s missing in your life you have to see it for what it is then manage it. This may sound obvious to some but there are many people who go through their entire life never realizing or identifying success and what’s missing… what needs to be done. As I have been saying in previous articles ‘if you can’t see it then you won’t handle it…’

-It is hoped that this will inspire you enough to start chalking down what it is you intend to achieve on the drawing board for unlimited success!

How To Build Confidence – The Foundation You Must First Have

There are many books available today that are motivational, inspirational and informational in regards to boosting your confidence level. Many of these tips range from acknowledging and appreciating your strengths to focusing only on positive thoughts. While these tips are helpful and can strengthen your self-confidence, if you don’t have the foundation for practices to be built upon, then many of these tips will not be long lasting. This can cause a tremendous amount of frustration for those that are using these tips and are not seeing any permanent improvement in their own level of self-confidence.

The foundation that needs to be in place before using a process to increase your confidence level is adopting the mindset of being unconditionally responsible. Being unconditionally responsible means that you realize that you are the creator of your experiences, whatever they appear to be. You come to know that you had a hand in influencing the outcome of what you are experiencing. When you embrace this frame of mind, you actually empower yourself because you can then begin to wrap your head around the fact that if you created or at least influenced your experience, you create it differently if you don’t like what you are currently experiencing. With that understanding, you begin to feel less like you are a victim to your circumstances and you actually have some say in what happens to you, the “good” and the “bad”. Using this concept on a day to day level is the beginning of the core foundation for having self-confidence.

In addition to being responsible, you must also be unconditional. This is important because being unconditional allows you to be objective with what you are creating and experiencing as your reality. Being unconditional means you are not judging what you are experiencing and what you have created. There is no good or bad, right or wrong; it just is what it is. Look at all of your experiences in such a way as they are there only to clarify what you say you want in life and how you want to experience that life. Sometimes, you can’t know what you want until you experience what you don’t want. Judging the experience as something that you did or didn’t deserve, only keeps you from receiving the empowering message and insight that would allow you to move to the next level in understanding what you do need to do to have the kind of experiences you would love to have. If you look at your experiences as just experiences, then removing the judgment will truly increase your self-confidence because you are no longer engaging in the negative/destructive self talk that tears down your confidence.

Imagine how empowered you would feel if you went out into the world knowing that you have influence over your reality, and that nothing you do is a cause for judging yourself.

This brings up the third point of being unconditionally responsibile. Even though nothing you do is cause for judgment, it does not mean that you are released from any damage or harm that you would cause on another. If you have harmed another, you must be responsible for that damage you caused them. The good thing is, if you caused the damage, you have the ability to fix it.

Building self-confidence is simpler than you might think if you have the foundation of unconditional responsibility firmly in place. With that foundation in place, any other tips you may receive later on will be more long lasting and more effective in raising your confidence level to where the sky is the limit.

Turning Life’s Breakdown’s Into Breakthrough’s

By Paul A Philips

At the queue in a coffee shop the other day I saw a young child have a chocolate bar he had chosen get snatched from his mother who then put back on the shelf. Not able to have the chocolate bar the young boy sobbed bitterly… Typical of children his age he has the philosophy that goes in the way of ‘I want, therefore I must have and when I don’t get it I resent that…’ upset indeed kicks in.

Now compare this to adults. Most adults, when their wants, desires, expectations… in life are not fulfilled they too go into upset. Like the child this means living a life consistent with the Buddhist saying “The source of all suffering is desire…”

For some this upset is only a matter of time since many people have no plans of action; no structure for fulfilment in life as to how they will achieve their goals. Instead their lives are based on relying on the wheel of circumstance, or idle fantasies, romantic notions, expecting something for nothing… which is victimhood waiting to happen?

-All this is in effect the anatomy of upset and the reactions to life’s breakdowns with all those accompanying dramas that many people go into. The breakdowns and related dramas that people go into can be as such that they don’t realize they’re in one.

For example, let’s say, there’s the man that doesn’t make his sales target for the third month in a row. So, in a state of fear/anxiety, wondering if he’ll make the sales target next month and not be sacked as a consequence he stays ’till late at bars having gone into a heavy drinking drama…

Then there is the woman whose breakdowns are related to the fact that she’s unable to keep a steady long-term relationship. So she goes into a promiscuity drama…

Yes indeed, door slammers, cat kickers and cursers could be a number of examples of the many dramas that people go into when their wants, desires, expectations… in life are not fulfilled during a breakdown. The attention seeking ego has more than a hand in the reaction mechanisms…

The solution

The solution is quite simple, but it takes dedication to develop the approach and habits required to make the necessary turnaround for handling life’s breakdowns successfully, turning them into breakthrough’s.

The first thing is, instead of living a life that’s based on focussing on what you don’t have in life, how about celebrating or dwelling on the things you do. Focus on abundance. Thoughts, feelings, emotional attachments, imaginings of abundance can only breed and make manifest abundance! This is the law of attraction and it’s up to you to make it happen.

When people attach themselves to their wants, desires, expectations… they set themselves up to be upset: It goes in the way of ‘life should go the way I expect it to go, so when it doesn’t I resent that…’ Avoid this. Detachment from this attitude is the key. Catch yourself in the related mechanisms and observe yourself; I can’t stress how important this is for your personal effectiveness…

Instead of getting attached to your wants, desires, expectations.., take the attitude that life doesn’t go the way I expect it to go; it just goes the way that IT goes, then you no longer become the effect of your breakdowns (remember, the source of all suffering is desire).

Then, unlike the child, you grow up, no longer taking the ‘I want therefore I should have’ child’s attitude. Once again, I repeat, observe yourself!

Finally, there’s the usual hindsight from your breakdowns. Ask yourself, what did I learn from my breakdowns? What’s missing that’s needed to produce the necessary turnaround..? What’s missing in the commitment, communications and visions of the possibility of..?Above all, never give up.

-These are the basics for turning life’s breakdowns into breakthroughs. I do indeed hope this has helped.

How Spiritual Are You? Care To Find Out?!

By Paul A Philips

There are so many things that not only weaken our spiritual light the expression of who we really are but threaten our very existence. Some of those things include: Toxicity from junk food, GMO’s, heavy metal poison in our food, toxic vaccine overload especially with children, airborne chemical spraying, low electromagnetic frequencies… All of which disturb the equilibrium of our body’s bio-energetic fields.

Then there are the renderings of mass media fear mongering, lies designed to hypnotize the sheep-like masses… Fear from money problems, so called terrorists, threats of war, epidemic diseases… With all this constant fear and worry over surviving how are we expected to grow spiritually?

In spite of all the adversity we are growing spiritually. It shows how amazing we can be. Some of us don’t realize that we really are amazing.

Not being the affect of fear or other negativities here are 8 things to show how spiritual we are. How strongly do you identify yourself in the list outlining a spiritual person?

1. Health conscious

Chooses organic food, drinks lots of good clean water and avoids the above mentioned toxicity where possible… Is committed to maintaining a positive outlook on life sleeps well and exercises regularly.

2. Has regular spiritual practices to raise vibration

May meditate regularly, says affirmations, reads an uplifting article or book, practices grounding/earthing, does yoga… recognises that uplifting spiritual experiences can happen from simplicity.

3. Awareness

Cares for all life forms, loves all things spiritual and has a planetary awareness, knowing how deeply connected he/she is with nature. We can remember our connection to the cosmos; the universe’s cosmic cycles. Our ancestors were indeed well aware of this. Sees right through the mass consensus fabricated reality, doesn’t get tangled in it.

4. Activism

Gets involved in campaigning for what is right, decent, fair and honest for freedom and justice in a peaceful manner… to raise awareness and make the necessary changes happen in the world.

5. Forgiveness

Forgives naturally and quickly… Knows the importance of completion with someone in relationship matters (Who’s suffering when you don’t forgive someone…?)

6. Non-judgemental

Maintains a non-judgement way of being in life… realizes that judgement is a bad servant but a good master.

7. Good communication

Possesses good open and appropriate communication in relationships: Life workability, good relationships, and competence in dealing with life’s games, tasks and projects… needs good communication to bring these things together…

8. Expresses Gratitude

Realizes that life is amazing and is a wonderful gift. It’s up to you to make what you can of it. The attitude of gratitude is a sure fire guiding light.

-Well how did you do? How much did you see of yourself in these 8 things?

It is hoped that the reader has been fire up and inspired!

Humanitarian Breakthrough The Power Lies Within You!

By Paul A Philips

Be it through education, mass media brainwashing or some other social engineering programme night and day there’s always someone trying to make you be somebody that’s really not you, making it easy to forget that you’re an individual and this individuality is your greatest strength.

-Dare you be yourself, thwart the plans of someone’s agenda to clone and control you?

It is easy to forget that the power lies within you. There are so many people trying to make you buy into something that takes away your power. See this for what it is; a potentially dangerous and disempowering trap:

Take for instance the doctor. He/she has been designated the power over one’s health. Someone who can ‘fix it’ if and when something goes wrong… No! There is no power for you in buying into that mindset! The control over your health ultimately lies within you. Responsibility is the key.

Then, in ignorance and apathy, we have given away our power to a small number of politicians who easily seduced by money and attention go by unchecked, allowing them to profiteer and make laws following an agenda that does not have our best interest at heart… The solution is getting rid of these con artists, decentralizing political power and quashing this disease called statism…

-I believe that community based societies are the answer and will be the future politics of the new paradigm. For every community to work it MUST have unity, self-sufficiency and the ability to discern.

Happiness is ‘just ’round the corner.’

There are always those trying to make you buy into something with the promise of when you finally obtain or achieve what they’re offering you’ll be happy, having reached your rainbow’s end. The obtainment or achievement of what’s being offered and the accompanying happiness is said to come through the result of exam passes, job promotions, political ideals, financial advisors, pyramid marketing schemes, religious cult gurus or some new found fad… etc.

However, from cradle to grave, for all that time, effort or money the promise of forever happiness as a reward never arrives. It’s always just ’round the corner, never in the here and now. That means you will be forever tail-chasing, going nowhere, never fulfilled or satisfied, having given your power away to those false promises and schemes created by a few select handfuls of individuals who benefit…

Discernment, selling and buying

A young child sees a cheetah and leopard as one of the same. That’s because the young child hasn’t yet learned to discern the differences between these 2 cats, but will of course be able to when it gets older and develops the necessary perception.

-My point is that the development of discernment is a wonderful thing, allowing you to be more effective in life:

When you fall sucker to the ‘one day I will be happy’ tail-chasing reward scheme scenario you haven’t discerned the differences between someone selling you something and your buying of it. You have just blindly accepted that this is the way it is and enter into the scheme. When you discern the fact that someone’s trying to sell, you may realize that it’s a disempowering con scheme and no longer become the affect of it by buying into it: Discerning selling from buying therefore means no longer giving your power away in this way.

In conclusion

-If you want to achieve a real humanitarian breakthrough then do realize that the power lies within you through your individuality and the ability to discern.

Why Self-Help Courses Will Not Be Enough For Your Personal Growth

By Paul A Philips

There are a number of reasons why self-help (self-improvement, self-development, self-actualization etc) courses will not be enough for your overall personal growth. To understand this you have to see yourself and how you fit into the ‘big picture.’

Before explaining the big picture let me put things into perspective.

Whether it’s for finding out about themselves for personal growth, spiritual enhancement, enlightenment, effective communication in relationships, therapy, alternative health and healing… there are an increasing number of people going to these self-help type courses.

Sure, this is great. These individuals engaged in various practices like for examples group encounter therapy, reiki, meditation sessions, Indian head massage, healing crystals, nutrition guidance… do indeed come away feeling great.

However, I have one big question for these individuals: You may feel great within yourself for having done those practices but what are you doing for the world?

The big picture is that there’s a global crisis on. The planet and all the life forms on it are seriously under threat from the world’s ruling elite with their intentions to create a New World Order enslavement agenda likened to that of the Hunger Games movie dystopia with the help of their psychopath, lying through their teeth politicians…

We are getting poisoned with increasing toxic overloads of junk food, rising obesity, increasing disease rates, GMO’s, vaccines, heavy metal toxicity… low frequency electromagnetic pollution in various applications such as mobile phones and Wi-Fi … Environmental pollution from radiation leaks in our seas, fracking, bio-warfare… Then there’s the effect of GMO’s on wildlife which in turn threatens our ecology… the list goes on.

And most of the above mentioned people having participated in those self-help type practices are doing nothing about these things. That in effect means that they will never fully grow because of these serious rate-limiting factors which indeed could lead to dire straights…

Then, on similar lines, there are those who have no idea about the global conspiracies so in their ignorance they do nothing. Ignorance by the way is no excuse now because all the information needed to find out is available.

Then there are those who know about the global conspiracies. However, they sit and do nothing, making them worse than the above group in my books.

-This is the message that many people don’t want to hear. But this is the kind of realization and enlightenment we really need to get so that we end up doing something for the world, whatever it takes.

What could you do? The rewards and the growth we could achieve as a race for creating a world out of doing something that makes a difference for everyone could indeed be amazing!

– This is how you can fit into the big picture and transform beyond the current limitations.

Achievement Through The Power Of Your Word

By Paul A Philips

There are indeed certain establishments offering various designer plans and products for you as a customer. For examples you can have designer clothes, designer kitchens or designer jewellery… Well, how about designer life? It could be said that in the self-help, self-growth or self-improvement (whatever you call it) categories you can have what could be called ‘designer life.’

One sure-fire way to designer life; a way of designing a life for fulfilment with all the necessary conditions of satisfaction is by achievement through the power of your word. Just how committed could you be to being a person of your word? Would you be prepared to stay up all night to get something done because you said you would..?

Words not only exist to say what and how you’ll accomplish something by a certain time they also create a context in which to view that target for achievement.

Let me clarify this by explaining with an inspiring analogy!

Three builders seen chipping away with their tools at some stones were approached by a man who asked each one ‘what are you doing?’

Curtly, the first man replied ‘I’m trying to hammer this stupid rock into a shape…’ unhappily, checking his watch, waiting for 5 o’clock home time…

Showing more interest than the first the second man said hammering away carefully ‘I’m shaping this rock so that it will fit into the other rocks to make a wall… I don’t mind working here but I’ll be glad when it’s over with and home time…’

Zealously, the third man hammered away at a granite block, some small pieces flew off… Happy with the outcome, that he had achieved what he said he would accomplish at this stage and within the timeframe, he then replied gazing up with pride and enthusiasm ‘I’m building a great cathedral.’

Three men with different attitudes and approaches with the same job to do…

-Going back to what I said earlier: ‘Words not only exist to say what and how you’ll accomplish something by a certain time they also create a context in which to view that target for achievement.’

As in the case of the third man this illustrates how the power of your word can be used to not only hold yourself accountable to achieve a target time but also create a context, a way of seeing your tasks that make them really worth doing.

-So what are you building in your life? Are you building a cathedral? Does your designer purpose in life really inspire you to do things..?

Effective Communication The Power Of Living In The Conversation

By Paul A Philips

If ever you want to know who you really are then take a look at the nature of the conversations you have in life. Whether it’s in the nature of how you talk to others or the chatter in your head, the conversations you have going on reflect who you are and is about as exclusive as your fingerprints!

-So for personal effectiveness it’s worth examining the nature of your conversations reflecting the way you see things, how you interact… and how you can shape them for fulfilment and effective communication.

Life as a conversation in your head

2 men walking down the street: Both men have a conversation in their heads about money. The first man is thinking how he’s going to make ends meet, having real issues / concerns about paying next month’s rent and with insufficient funds he also owes money to the bank as monthly dues… etc.

Then there’s the second man. He’s considering how to invest in stocks and shares having received a sizable windfall. He’s estimating how much spending money he’ll need to go on holiday, not leave him short after buying those stocks and shares…

By their own interpretations the first man is having a terrible day while the other is enjoying life, but both men are doing the same thing, walking down the street! You see, the only difference between the 2 men is the different conversations in their heads.

The point to this is that the conversation in our heads can determine what we get out of life. Will your internal conversation run you or will you run it?

Life as an external conversation how you interact with others

Whether it’s the chatter in your head or how you talk to others the nature of the conversation is determined by a number of factors. The point to get is that they’re all interpretive and choice-based. When interacting with others you can create the conversation.

Will you have a conversation based on negativity; in the morass, helplessness or on victimhood..? Or will you create a conversation for opportunity, resourcefulness, contribution, solving problems or sharing yourself on the joy that life really is..?

-You can see that the nature of the conversations you choose determines how life shows up for you. One thing is for sure the conversation merely based on negativity is not empowering for you!

So it’s well worth doing some introspection, asking yourself who I am as an opportunity, a resource, as someone who can help, contribute, solve problems and share myself on a daily basis…
